Poster-Eteaching Bathinda

An imagination can be pictured in form of reality... And filling those imaginations colors is what knows as POSTERS. To trace the reality world, with a brush on a piece of paper is poster. Posters are designed to be eye catching as well as informative. Posters include graphical and textual information. As seen we are introduced with posters from more than two hundred years. In 1870, the technique of poster making was totally spread over Europe. Posters were invented for attracting people towards political viewpoints, encouraging us to buy the products and to attend any events.

We have different types of posters such as:

1.       Propaganda and Political Posters.

2.       Movie Posters.

3.       Travel Posters.

4.       Railway Posters.

5.       Event Posters.

6.       Boxing Posters.

7.       Concert Posters.

8.       Music Posters.

9.       Backlight Posters.
10.   Pin up Posters.

In publication forms we have three types of posters:
1.       Comic Posters.
2.       Education Posters.
3.       Classroom Posters.

The old and original way of designing postures is designed by hands… but as the technology is developing postures are printed by use of poster creation software to print large posture on standard printers. Ideally posters are printed on standard A3 sheets, one side of the sheet  will be printed while the other side is left blank.
These poster designing have supported a lot in awaking up the world by its eye catching quality. These days everyone try to convey their messages by the help of this method. Students are coming up with their skills and becoming good artists…  All Thanks to these art forms.

POSTER MAKING TIPS

We've all seen posters filled with tiny print, blurry images, and disorganized text. Does anybody read them? A good poster is a well-positioned display of text and images that communicates just the highlights of your program to a mobile audience. The primary goal of a poster is to inform, but it can also advertise or stimulate conversation about ideas and concepts. It always markets your image and the image of your colleagues and institution. Whether you are creating a poster for a scientific conference or putting one together for a community event, the basics are still the same.

A good poster:

1.       Tells a story.
2.       Can be read from more than 5 feet away.
3.       Is interesting and eye-catching.
4.       Has a simple, uncluttered design.
5.       Uses clear language and images in a logical sequence.
6.       Summarizes key points without excess detail.
7.       Outline your points in a logical flow
8.       Choose an ATTENTION-GRABBING TITLE.

THE DON’T LIST:

A good poster doesn't need to be expensive but it does need to have a good design and an interesting message.
Here’s what you should NEVER do:
Don’t:
1.       Use your actual research paper as the poster
2.       Use a text font smaller than 24 points.
3.       Clutter the board with too much text or too many images.
4.       Use too many different colors or patterns.
5.       Use lots  of boring language.
6.       Make sloppy cuts on your panels
7.       Use light letters  on a dark background
8.       Leave out the title, your institution, and your name.
9.       Forget   to proofread your poster.

Here are some good posters which helps you
